Women Interested in Engineering Day
saturday, October 10, 2009

Do you want to change the world?

Do you love math and science?

Can you imagine creating the future instead of waiting for the future?

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter invite all students in grades 9-12 to attend WIIE (Women Interested In Engineering) 2009 on Saturday, October 10, 2009. This program, hosted annually on the Lincoln campus, is designed to discuss opportunities available in engineering and construction management, with an emphasis on females interested in engineering and science. Past interactive sessions have included: making lipstick, Barbie Bungee and a professional female engineer panel. This event is free and registration will be available in late August 2009.
